Growers

AS THEY GROW, WE GROW!

Meet our growers

Every spring we contract with these Certified Organic Growers to produce the lovely crops we distill.

Our preordering system allows us the flexibility to change crops as demand changes. It also gives our growers the security of growing something guaranteed to be sold, similar to a CSA farm.

We work closely together to orchestrate the growing and harvesting of each of the over 35 organic crops that we distill.

Fitzgerald Organic Farm is a small 3 acre family business located in the far north-east corner of Washington next to the Columbia River. We grow a variety of crops for Morning Myst Botanics—rose geranium, catnip and sometimes lemon verbena and yarrow to name a few. It is very rewarding to be able to work from home with our children! We believe there is great value in working outside in the dirt together teaching our children how to grow and tend crops from seed to harvest and learning many life-skills along the way.

Flat Creek Farm

Chad and Julie Butorac are committed to growing beautiful organic plants for hydrosol production as well as producing, meat, and hay – all of which is sold locally.

Just 12 miles south of Northport Washington – Their farm sits between the Columbia River and the Canadian border.

Chad and Julie quoted us, stating “We feel blessed to wake up each day and have the opportunity to live and work in such amazing country. We hope to teach and inspire our own children and others to have an active role in agriculture as they grow up in a world that is so disconnected from where food and other high quality products come from.”

We’re very glad to have them as part of our team!

Nathan’s Naturals

Our dear friends Steve and Judy Greenough named the business after their grandson, who at a young age is already an amazing farmer and business hopeful.

Steve, Judy, their daughter Kristi, and Nathan all work on the family farm.  They are committed and passionate people that believe deeply in organic growing, loving others, and stewarding the earth.

We have the privilege of having them grow Geranium, cucumbers, sourcing Douglas Fir from their forest ground, and so much more for us.

Bear Creek Nursery

Bear Creek Nursery is the business name for our herb farm here in Northport, WA. We are passionate about growing!

With the help of family and friends we grow Artemisias, Bee Balm, Clary Sage, Cucumber, Eucalyptus, French tarragon, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Lemon Thyme, Lemon Verbena, Rose Geranium, Sage, Tulsi, White Sage, Yarrow…and the list gets longer every year!

Many of our seeds and cuttings are planted by us and cared for in our greenhouse until the weather becomes warm enough for them to be moved outdoors.
