This gentle botanical toner brings together three plants long appreciated in traditional herbal skin
care. The aroma is fresh and herbaceous, with the bright lift of lemon thyme layered over the soft
green notes of meadowsweet and witch hazel.
Witch hazel has a long history tied to Native American medicine for treating bruised and
inflamed conditions of the skin or muscles. It works so well it is still used today to help refine
and calm angry skin (our product contains no alcohol or other preservative). Meadowsweet has a
long history in European herbal traditions with it’s minty fragrance of methyl Salicylate helping
reduce inflammation and added analgesic effects that are a powerful addition to this
combination. While Lemon thyme contributes a clean, lively fragrance and has traditionally been
used in botanical preparations associated with clarity and freshness. with a low ph value and full
of geranial and geraniol lemon thyme is amazing against bacterial and fungal concerns and
simultaneously anti-inflammatory. This trio of hydrosols creates a powerful and restorative daily
defense for the skin.
